New season for Beautiful Gate

“Over the past 14 years Beautiful Gate has been part of YWAM but has also more and more developed its own unique identity as a separate Christian organisation”, say Toby and Aukje Brouwer, directors and founders of Beautiful Gate Ministries International. “After years of prayerful reflection and consideration we felt that it’s time for Beautiful Gate to fully embrace that new identity to be enabled to move into the next season.”. After a year of consultation with various levels of YWAM leadership and the associates, the decision was officially made by BGMI during the international board meeting on 12^th of November 2007.

Beautiful Gate Namibia is now Beautiful Kidz Namibia.

Beautiful Gate Namibia decided to continue to be part of YWAMs family of ministries due to its close working relationships in Namibia , therefore  Beautiful Gate Namibia will not be part of the Beautiful Gate group but will operate under a new name, Beautiful Kidz Namibia . This decision was made in a spirit of unity and both organisations desire is to work alongside each other and by doing so 

Special gathering 

During the month of January a team of leaders of Beautiful Gate South Africa, Lesotho, and Zambia together with their spouses came together in Cape Town for our annual Indaba (Xhosa word for gathering).  It was a wonderful time of seeking direction from the Lord regarding the future of Beautiful Gate. One of the exciting exercises was composing a new logo.
