The name Beautiful Gate originates from: Acts 3:2 Now a man crippled from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked for money. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, "Look at us!" Then Peter said, Silver nor gold I do have, but what I have I give you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk. |

Beautiful Gate Ministry is registered with the South African Department of Social Development in the Western Cape as a Not for Profit Organisation. NPO 086 005. We are a self-sustaining charitable organisation financed through public gifts, national and international donations, as well as government subsidies. We are therefore also registered as a Public Benefits Organisation, PBO No. 130002944.

As an organisation we are committed to creating jobs within our community, as well as providing an opportunity for local and international volunteers to contribute specific skills to the community we serve.
