Beautiful Gate Zambia runs the following programmes:

Community School

The school aims to provide a safe educational environment for 280 disadvantaged and orphaned children between the ages of six and twelve years free of charge.

A feeding scheme allows for the children to have at least one nutritious meal a day

Beautiful Gate assists with uniforms and school materials.

Resource Centre

Social amenities or recreation facilities do not exist in most communities in Zambia today. As a result of this young people are forced to resort to illicit activities such as alcohol/drug abuse and premature sex as a way of passing their leisure time and hence exposing themselves to possible risk of HIV/AIDS infection.

Beautiful Gate is helping address juvenile delinquency in the community by encouraging young people adopt a worthy lifestyle through motivational talks and annual camp meetings where they are able to exchange views with their peers on HIV/AIDS, alcohol/drug abuse and career choices etc.

We also have a Resource Center where young people can come and pass their leisure time constructively by playing games and accessing the library and internet.

Street Outreach

Beautiful Gate Zambia is concerned about the plight of orphans and vulnerable children in the country in general and Kitwe in particular; we’re dedicated to help address the problem of street kids in Zambia.

We have a street outreach programme; twice a week about 65 kids are gathered at a sports arena in the inner city of Kitwe for a time of prayer, sports and games. Our aim is to build relationships with street children so as to create mutual trust and confidence with children living on the streets. This way we are able to walk them through a path of reformation and restoration.
