Beautiful Gardens:
Our largest project, Beautiful Gardens, is scheduled to commence in late 2012. Beautiful Gate currently owns a plot of land about 5 kms away from our current care centre. The concept of the project is to create a secure rental housing complex made up of 9 houses and other ancillary buildings. The proceeds from the rental units would be used to offset the operating costs of Beautiful Gate Lesotho. While this is a very large project, both in terms of finances and time, this will help to sustain Beautiful Gate’s operations for many years to come. Currently we are looking for donors to cover the cost of the construction project. There are many levels of donations that can fit your giving needs. If you are interested in leaving a legacy that will last many years into the future, this would be a great project for you.

Discipleship Training Centre:
Beautiful Gate is still looking for a donor(s) to cover the construction costs of the last building on our campus. This building would be specifically designed to house larger teams of volunteers that come and live on campus with the children. The current plans would allow for up to 24 people to be housed in the same building. We would also be able to rent this building to other interested teams/NGO’s for overnight accommodations and trainings/workshops.

Beautiful Gate Fleet:
Beautiful Gate is also looking towards the future with its fleet of vehicles. The current fleet consists of two bakkies (trucks), one Toyota Camry and one Toyota Quantum (van). While the Quantum is still in great condition, we are looking toward replacing the other three vehicles with newer and more efficient models. These vehicles provide for the completion of key functions within our organization.

Continual Staff Training:
As we gave grown, we have seen a need to continually better the quality of our program. With this in mind, we have encouraged on-going staff trainings as new developments occur.

Other Projects:
There are many other smaller projects that we are currently working on, which can be found on our newsletters. For the most recent newsletters, please visit our News page.
